2 games will get the nationwide spotlight on Thursday night in NFL preseason sports betting. The New York Giants hosting the Patriots will be the 1st match that will be televised on the NFL Network. The early part of the match ought to be compelling if the starters for each squad get on the field.

Since they’re at home, NFL preseason gambling at the online sportsbook will likely favor the New York Giants on Thursday. The New England Patriots also almost certainly will play their starters less than New York which is another cause the New York Giants will be liked. New England head coach Bill Belichick does not like to play his starters a lot in the final preseason competition. On the other side, New York head coach Tom Coughlin may want to get his starters a little more action thinking about how poorly they’ve played. Since he missed the match two weeks ago as a result of injury and only played a half last week, Eli Manning also could need a little additional work.

New York Needs an excellent Game: The New York Giants were quite negative last week in a 24-10 loss to Baltimore. The defense was abysmal and the offense was not a lot better. After missing the prior week as a result of injury, quarterback Eli Manning was not at his best last week. He was just 9 for 18 for 63 yards as well as an interception. The running game was nothing special as Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw combined for 63 yards.

Backup Quarterbacks – The New England Patriots have got Brian Hoyer as their backup to Tom Brady. Because Brady won’t play long it will essentially be Hoyer’s match. He has been decent in relief of Brady in the preseason so the New England Patriots aren’t impossible. After Eli Manning leaves the match on Thursday, the New York Giants have a big issue. Their backup is Jim Sorgi yet he’s been hurt. It’s been third-string quarterback Rhett Bomar who has been getting most of the action. He does not really give you much assurance. You have to worry about Bomar playing poorly, though you may like to make your wager on the New York Giants in this match against the NFL preseason prospects. It is achievable that Sorgi will return for this match and if so, that may very well be great news for New York since Sorgi will want to play well to make sure he still has the backup quarterback job.
